The 2023 Annual Meeting of the Chinese Society of Microbiology, hosted by the Chinese Society of Microbiology and the Shanghai Society of Microbiology, and organized by Fudan University, Shanghai Medical College of Fudan University, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and East China University of Science and Technology, was held in Shanghai from October 20 to 23, 2023.

Dr. Xinhai Chen and his lab members Jinzhou Ye and Shoulin Cao attended the annual meeting of the Chinese Society of Microbiology, and gave an academic report entitled "Antibody Immune Escape and Countermeasures of Bacteria" at the conference, sharing his research results in the research of antibody immune escape and countermeasures of bacteria.
